Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 6, 2026

KinesioCal, LLC (“KinesioCal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides booking and practice-management software for massage therapists and other hands-on practices, along with this website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve tried to write it the way we write everything else — plainly.

The short version: we collect what we need to run the service and nothing more, we never sell your information, and your data is yours to take with you.

1. Who this policy covers

A note for clients: your therapist’s practice controls the appointment and profile records it keeps about you within KinesioCal, much like it controls its own paper files. We process that information on the practice’s behalf to provide the service. Questions about a practice’s own policies belong with the practice; questions about the platform belong with us.

2. Information we collect

On this website: nothing personal, unless you contact us. We don’t run third-party analytics or advertising trackers here. The only thing the site stores on your device is your light/dark theme preference, kept in your own browser’s local storage and never sent to us.

When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to tell us, which we use to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.

When a business uses the service:

When a client uses the service: contact details and appointment information you or your practice provide — such as your name, email, phone, address for house calls, bookings, reminders and their delivery status, and any forms you sign.

Technical basics: like most online services, our servers keep standard logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the time of a request) for security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.

3. How we use information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your practice’s or your clients’ data for advertising.

4. How information is shared

5. Your data is yours

This is a founding principle of the product, not a legal afterthought:

6. Retention

We keep information for as long as it’s needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Operational logs and message records are pruned on a schedule rather than kept forever. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where we’re legally required to retain it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and encryption of especially sensitive fields at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we’ll notify you as required by law. To report a security concern, email us with “Security” in the subject line.

8. Children

KinesioCal is not directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 13. A parent or guardian may manage bookings for a minor through their own account or through the practice.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To exercise any of these, email KinesioCalendar@gmail.com — we honor these requests for everyone, not just where a statute makes us.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the effective date. For significant changes, we’ll notify account holders by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
